This double-sided sharpening stone is perfect for anyone looking to maintain their knives with care—whether at home or in a professional kitchen.
Featuring a coarse #240 grit on one side for reshaping edges or repairing chips, and a medium #1000 grit on the other for refining and smoothing the blade, it offers a versatile solution for regular maintenance.
Together, they restore cutting performance and prepare the blade for further polishing with a finer grit if desired.

Please note that this stone requires soaking before use.
Be sure to soak it in water for at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to sharpening.

Japanese whetstones—both natural and synthetic—are known for their fast cutting performance.
Because the abrasive particles are loosely bonded, fresh grit is constantly exposed during use, allowing for efficient sharpening.
Always use water as a lubricant when sharpening. Never use oil or any other substances.
